John Muir Tues Group YOUNG FORESTER AWARD

The Tuesday John Muir group has started on their Young Forester Award and went into our school woodland to look for any potential hazards to us or to wildlife.

Litter had blown into the woods from the playground and 4 children decided to carry out a litter pick and the other worked on cutting trip hazards down and removing broken, sharp branches. Whilst picking litter, one group noticed that a crisp packet was rather heavy and on closer inspection, they found a frog insode the packet-it was safely liberated and placed under a hedge.
